AC/DC's new album: are they back in black?

After a stretch of eight years, AC/DC has created their 15th study album entitled "Black Ice." Eight years, which is an eternity for any band in the rock and roll world, feels somewhat shorter than normal with such a strong release. As rock and roll has become a formula with bands copying each other it's nice to see an old face innovate the rock and roll arena. (0) comments

On Wednesday, Oct. 8, not an empty seat could be found in Prosser Auditorium as students made themselves comfortable on the floor of the aisles for the film "Shakespeare Behind Bars." (0) comments

Contra dancing on Saturday night at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Lehigh Valley gives students an opportunity do go out into the community and experience a style of dance that is usually unheard of. This is a style of folk dancing that is very social, as an individual and their partner will usually dance with an entire line of other dancers (called a set) over the course of one dance. Coffehouse on South Campus

A nice respite from the hectic weekday, South Campus offers an oasis to students with its Coffeehouse in the basement of Main Hall from 9 to 12 every Wednesday night. The aptly named Coffeehouse serves unlimited coffee, hot chocolate, Kool-Aid and a variety of snacks for only 50 cents. (0) comments
