Having been featured on Comedy Central and as a patient on the television show "ER," the popular comedian Johnny Walker came to Moravian College for an hour worth of comedy this past weekend.

Walker began with talk about Fresca because it is "bubbly and effervescent," and warmed the audience of students up for a great show.

Walker continued with a discussion about YouTube and "the dramatic hamster," A short four-second clip of a hamster dramatically turning around to music. Noting how after watching enough YouTube he feels like he has become less intelligent, Walker compared it the to a show that he feels does the same thing, MTV's "The Hills."

Walker also picked up a guitar and strummed his own version of Eminem's "Lose Yourself." Walker's version had to do with college and what it was like as a freshman, and it resulted in roaring applause by the students.

Walker continued with some education fueled jokes as he discussed his job as an SAT tutor in college and what it was like tutoring women. Walker said, "All the tests test is how well you test."

Many students nodded in agreement to this, and he continued that college prep should actually prep for college, not prep for a test.

Walker also made smart conclusions about college and drinking.

"Turn your cell phone off. You are not meant to be drunk and able to easily communicate," he said, to the common notion known as drunk dialing.

Walker moved on to laugh about television ads for different medications such as Viagra and he questioned a specific commercial where a man and a woman are depicted in two separate bathtubs. Walker connects this to high school and the awkward moments for male and female students. Walker continued by questioning why The Pill is available by prescription only. "Who's going to abuse birth control?" he asked.

Walker continued with a song about Pennsylvania: "I got here this afternoon/I checked into my hotel room/Historic hotel. I didn't have much to do so I wrote this song about you/Pennsylvania looks so beautiful to me/but anything looks beautiful to me when it's next to New Jersey."

Walker has around seventy shows between Aug. 15 and the end of this year, making him the most booked college comic in the nation.

Following his performance in Bethlehem, Walker mentioned that he enjoyed his time here and he though that this was a beautiful area.

Walker said that the quotes along the ceiling of the HUB Pavilion really gave him the impression that Moravian is an open-minded campus, unlike many others that he has performed at.

Overall, he said that he had a great time at this performance and that the Moravian community was one of his favorite crowds in the many college shows that he has done so far this year.
