Borderlinks takes students to Arizona, Mexico over spring break
Issue date: 3/19/09 Section: Entertainment
I think every student at Moravian should act on the opportunity to take such a worthwhile trip!"

"The Borderlinks trip was an incredible experience. It is one thing to learn about something in the classroom, but to be able to see it first hand is definitely a privilege and an even better learning experience.
I learned more in those few days then I think I could learn in any semester long course."
-Nina Patton, '11
"This trip to the U.S./Mexico border has been truly life-changing. I can confidently say that my view of the world has changed after the six days I spent experiencing life on both sides of the border.
What I have learned is that we are not as different from each other as we might think. We all want the same thing, and that is that our families stay safe, healthy and happy. I don't think that any human being should be denied that right.
I would recommend that any Moravian student go on a Borderlinks trip and hope that many more such opportunities will soon be available to students and other members of our community."
